Dr. Nicholas Cappa is a board qualified in foot surgeon by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He graduated from Pace University in 2015 with distinction. In 2019 he graduated from The New York College of Podiatric Medicine. He went on to do a 3 year podiatric medicine & surgery residency with an added credential in reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery at the prestigious Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City. While at Lenox Hill he served as the chief resident from 2021-2022. He then joined his father in private practice in Valhalla New York. He still remains active in teaching. He is the site director at Phelps for the Lenox Hill podiatric surgery residency. Dr. Cappa is affiliated with White Plains Hospital, Phelps Hospital, and Westchester Medical Center.

Since 1988 Dr. Cappa has been in private practice to provide the best podiatric care to his patients. He has a strong background in medicine and pharmacology. After graduating St. John’s University, College of Pharmacy, he became the Assistant Director of Pharmacy at Burke Rehabilitation Center. He then decided to further his medical career. After graduating from The New York College of Podiatric Medicine and completing a residency in foot surgery at The New York College of Podiatric medicine and affiliated hospitals, he decided to go into private practice.
Dr. Cappa is double board certified by The American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery, and in Wound Care by The Council for Medical Education and Testing. He is a founding member of The Academy of Physicians in Wound Healing.
